A Message from the Assistant Principal
Welcome Back, High School Family and Friends!!!
I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. I am very excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. Our mission is for all students to feel welcomed, connected, and a part of the Malakoff High School family. Additionally, we challenge each student to grow in their academic abilities by being college-ready or workforce-ready by the end of four years. We believe that all students should graduate from high school prepared for the demands of postsecondary education, meaningful careers, and influential citizens.
We had lots of wonderful things that happened out of the classrooms this past year, including but not limited to winning a state baseball championship, band winning the 3A sweepstakes, one-act play advancing to the regional contest, FFA accomplishments, UIL academic success, all sporting teams advancing to the playoffs, and many, many more. Our goal as a school is to try and make sure each student finds something they can be part of and be successful while doing it.
I am honored to serve as the assistant principal of Malakoff High School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social success. Please feel free to contact me at any time at 903-489-1527 or by email at kodi.huff@malakoffisd.org.
Sincerely,
Kodi Huff
Malakoff High School Assistant Principal
