Beginning August 1st, the University Interscholastic League will require Texas schools to use wet bulb globe temperature readings to determine whether students can exercise or practice outdoors. Schools are required to monitor temperatures to determine whether or not practice can take place.
This new rule will require some flexibility in after-school practice times. Coaches and sponsors will update parents on any practice changes that occur due to temperatures, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate these new rules.
